Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with 1015 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on expertise in Playwright and modern automation frameworks, along with a proven track record of leading QA initiatives, designing scalable automation solutions, and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. The candidate will work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).
- Lead end-to-end test automation strategy for enterprise web applications.
- Develop and execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, API, and end-to-end automated test suites.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Review requirements and provide quality assurance recommendations during planning and design phases.
- Perform root cause analysis for defects and ensure timely resolution.
- Define QA best practices, automation standards, and coding guidelines.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level QA engineers.
- Improve automation coverage, execution time, and overall testing efficiency.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and release activities.
- Prepare test metrics, quality dashboards, and status reports for stakeholders.

Required Skills

- 1015 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.




- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Strong programming experience in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Expertise in designing and maintaining automation frameworks using the Page Object Model (POM) or similar design patterns.
- Strong experience in API automation using REST Assured, Postman, or equivalent tools.
- Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
- Experience with SQL and database validation.
- Hands-on experience with Git and source control management.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Experience using defect management tools such as Jira or Azure Boards.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6.
- Exposure to Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Experience testing microservices and distributed systems.
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading QA automation initiatives for enterprise applications.
- Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
