UCA rules Development & Customization
- Develop and maintain Java-based correlation rules and process logic in UCA.
- Design and implement alarm correlation scenarios for telecom OSS environments.
- Develop inter-domain and intra-domain correlation use cases across:

- RAN Network
- Core Network
- Implement service impact analysis and root cause identification logic.
- Enhance correlation algorithms for alarm suppression, deduplication, enrichment, and RCA generation.
- Develop custom workflows, processors, and integration modules.
Alarm Correlation & RCA
- Analyze alarms received from vTeMIP and other OSS systems.
- Correlate alarms using topology, dependency, and inventory relationships.
- Identify parent-child alarm relationships and service impact scenarios.
- Design logic for outage detection, cascading failures, and network degradation events.
- Reduce alarm noise using intelligent correlation techniques.
- Validate and optimize correlation accuracy and performance.
Topology & Inventory Integration
- Work with Neo4j based topology and inventory systems.
- Understand telecom network inventory relationships and dependencies.
- Utilize topology data for impact analysis and root cause identification.
- Develop topology-aware correlation logic using graph relationships.
- Validate inventory synchronization and topology consistency.
Telecom Domain Expertise
- Understand end-to-end telecom network architecture and services.
- Work on correlation scenarios involving:
- Router/Switch failures
- Transport link failures
- Microwave/Fiber issues
- RAN site outages
- Core network degradations
- Power and infrastructure-related alarms
- Interpret EMS/NMS alarms from multiple telecom vendors.
Integration & Automation
- Support integration between UCA, vTeMIP, EMS/NMS, and OSS platforms.
- Work with REST APIs, messaging systems, and alarm ingestion frameworks.
- Develop automation scripts and utilities using Python/Shell.
Production Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide L2/L3 support for UCA production environments.
- Troubleshoot correlation failures, processing delays, and data inconsistencies.
- Analyze logs, performance bottlenecks, and rule execution issues.
- Support deployments, patch upgrades, and release activities.
- Coordinate with operations and infrastructure teams during major incidents.
