Role Purpose

Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations of the Ceramic Divisions plant with accountability for production, quality, maintenance, utilities, safety, cost optimization, industrial relations, and operational excellence in a continuous/semi-continuous process setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive overall plant performance, productivity, quality and delivery metrics.
- Lead continuous process operations involving kilns, furnaces and energy-intensive manufacturing systems.
- Manage unionized workforce and maintain harmonious industrial relations.
- Drive TPM, Lean Manufacturing, OEE improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality and statutory compliance standards.
- Lead manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, utilities, supply chain and EHS functions.
- Build a high-performance culture and develop leadership pipeline.
- Partner with COO and senior stakeholders on strategic initiatives and capacity enhancement.

Preferred Industry Background

Ceramics, Sanitaryware, Tiles, Glass, Refractories, Steel, Foundries, Aluminium, Paper & Pulp, Specialty Chemicals and other continuous process industries.

Mandatory Requirements





- 20+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 5 years as Plant Head.
- Hands-on exposure to kiln/furnace-based or continuous process manufacturing.
- Experience managing large unionized workforces and IR matters.
- Strong understanding of operations, maintenance, quality, safety and cost management.
- Proven track record in driving operational excellence and business transformation.

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for a seasoned manufacturing leader with proven experience managing large-scale, unionized plants. The ideal candidate must have direct exposure to continuous process manufacturing involving furnaces, kilns, high-temperature operations, and energy-intensive processes. We are specifically interested in individuals who have served as Plant Heads in industries such as ceramics, glass, refractories, cement, sanitaryware, steel , tiles or close match like our manufacturing plant.
