Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Agribusiness/Food Science/Food Technology/Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree in Agribusiness, Food Technology, Food Science, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Business Administration (Preferred).

Required Experience

- 01 year of experience in Procurement, Purchase, Supply Chain, or Vendor Management.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internships, industrial training, or project experience in procurement or supply chain are encouraged to apply.
- Exposure to the FMCG, Food Processing, Manufacturing, Packaging, or Agri-based industries will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, inventory control, and purchase documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Office, and ERP systems (preferred).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers as per products requirements.

2. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings.

3. Collect the samples with full specifications from vendors and analyse it by prepare the comparative statement by considering the Price, Quality, Payment Terms and Delivery Terms.

4. Create and manage the Purchase orders based on Management Approvals.

5. Monitor the status of orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

6. Communicate & follow up with suppliers about order status, delays, and delivery schedules.

7. Ensure that procured items meet quality standards and specifications.

Keep track of inventory levels and assist in inventory management to ensure there is no overstock or understock.

9. Ensure that supplier and inventory databases are regularly updated by Keeping the accurate records of all procurement transactions, including invoices, receipts, and supplier contracts.

10. Prepare basic procurement reports and assist in analysing spending patterns, savings, and supplier performance.

11. Collaborate with departments like finance, operations, and logistics to ensure that procurement supports the company's overall objectives.

12. Assist in managing procurement-related paperwork, such as purchase agreements and supplier communications.

13. Provide administrative support to senior procurement staff, such as scheduling meetings and preparing materials.

14. Working experiences on Packaging materials like Laminates, PP bags, Non-Woven Fabric materials, Corrugated boxes, Mono cartons etc.

15. Monitor stock levels and alert the procurement team when stock is low by Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

16. Assist in preparing reports on procurement activities, such as cost analysis, supplier performance, and budget compliance.

17. Handle discrepancies in invoicing or delivery and ensure these issues are resolved promptly.

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills





- Basic understanding of Procurement processes, including Direct Procurement, Indirect Procurement, and the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate suppliers, pricing, purchasing data, and resolve procurement-related issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook) and professional email communication.
- Basic knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehousing, or Inventory Management will be an added advantage.
