Responsibilities:

- Data Strategy & Governance: Define policies for data quality, lifecycle management, and metadata cataloging in alignment with financial regulations (like GDPR).
- Architecture Design: Create end-to-end data pipelines, data models, and logical/physical database structures across on-premise and cloud ecosystems.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Data Science teams to build secure management systems for risk and client onboarding data.
- Modernization: Drive the transition of legacy database environments into contemporary, event-driven, cloud-native data platforms.
- Deep understanding of financial data ecosystems (securities, settlement, asset servicing, or risk data).
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud tools (Databricks, Azure, AWS), data governance tools (Microsoft Purview, Unity Catalog), and relational/NoSQL databases.
- Strong working knowledge of data privacy laws, data lineage, and risk mitigation in the financial sector.
