About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Engineer with strong expertise in ServiceNow development, scripting, and automation testing. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing scalable solutions across the ServiceNow platform while ensuring quality through robust test automation frameworks.

This role requires hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, Service Portal, and enterprise integrations. The candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow Development

- Design, develop, and customize applications, workflows, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
- Develop solutions using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Catalog Scripts.
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, and Service Catalog.
- Manage update sets, deployments, and development lifecycle activities.
- Develop and support integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and Integration Hub.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation and deployment activities.

Quality Engineering & Automation

- Design and execute test cases for ServiceNow applications and integrations.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Perform manual and automated testing across ServiceNow workflows and modules.
- Execute upgrade and patch testing to ensure platform stability and high-quality releases.




- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, and Selenium.

Collaboration & Delivery

- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, and developers to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Work effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Promote best practices in development, testing, and quality assurance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in Software Development and Quality Assurance.
- Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience on the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow Development, JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF), REST/SOAP Integrations, Service Catalog, Client Scripts, Business Rules, and Integration Hub.
- Experience working with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Event Management, and Service Portal.
- Expertise in API testing tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, Selenium, or Rest Assured.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with JIRA, HP ALM, or other defect management tools.
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS ITSM/Discovery/Event Management)
- ITIL v3/v4 Certification
