Job Description

Title: Sr Test Engineer

Exp: 5 to 10 Years

Location: Hyderabad

Working hours: 12.00pm to 9.00pm

Education: Bachelors/ Masters degree in computer science or Software Engineering

Responsibilities

- Experience in programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript is essential for writing and maintaining automated test scripts
- Valuable understanding of QA processes and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including Agile and DevOps practices
- Develop Automation scripts for applications developed in .NET framework and full Microsoft stack and SQL Server back end using Selenium tool, create automated scripts, develop functions, add control flow logic, loops etc. for web applications and services
- Ability to work with and troubleshoot GUI object recognition issues and customize
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented programming, design and troubleshooting
- Participating in preparation of Quality assessments, reports, and metrics formulating go-no go statement based on reports and metrics, test progress and defect status
- Able to use Pipelines for Test Executions using any of the DevOps tools
- Identify, analyze,



and troubleshoot problems with Automated Test Case runs Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in automation testing
- Work with QA Engineers to identify test scenarios, data requirements, functionality, and areas of application and system level risk
- Able to effectively work and communicate with local/India and US teams of QA Engineers and Development Team Leads
- Support in delivering Automation Test plan Test Strategy for respective Platforms

Qualifications
- 510 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years in automation.
- Strong programming skills in Java, C#. Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar API testing tools like RestAssured, Postman, Karate. Experience in test framework design (BDD/TDD frameworks such as Cucumber, SpecFlow).
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience working with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, etc.).
- SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) vs QA-focused role.
- Specific tech stack (.NET, Java, JavaScript-heavy, etc.)
- Certifications (ISTQB, Agile Testing) are a plus
