Electrical Project Manager (US & UAE Projects)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager with solid expertise in Electrical Design, BIM Coordination, and Project Management to lead electrical engineering projects for clients in the United States and the United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee design and BIM deliverables, ensure compliance with international codes and standards, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

- Lead electrical engineering projects from concept through construction support.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, manpower planning, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, MEP disciplines, and contractors.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Conduct project review meetings and prepare progress reports.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage multiple international projects simultaneously.

Electrical Design

- Review and supervise preparation of:
- Power distribution systems
- Lighting systems
- Emergency power systems
- UPS systems
- Grounding and lightning protection
- Fire alarm systems
- Low Voltage (LV) systems
- ELV systems

- Perform design reviews and quality checks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable US and UAE electrical standards.

BIM Management

- Lead BIM implementation for electrical projects.
- Review BIM models for accuracy and coordination.
- Coordinate clash detection with other disciplines.
- Ensure BIM deliverables meet project requirements.
- Develop and maintain BIM execution plans.
- Supervise BIM modelers and design engineers.

Client Management





- Serve as the primary point of contact for international clients.
- Attend client meetings and technical discussions.
- Present engineering solutions and project updates.
- Manage client expectations and resolve technical issues.

Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor electrical engineers, BIM engineers, and designers.
- Allocate work and monitor productivity.
- Conduct technical reviews and performance evaluations.
- Support recruitment and training initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years in project management.
- Experience handling US and UAE projects.
- Strong knowledge of international engineering standards.

Technical Skills

Electrical Design Software

- AutoCAD / Revit MEP / Navisworks
- BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud / Bluebeam Revu / REVITZO
- Dialux Evo / ETAP / SKM Power Tools (preferred)

BIM Skills

- BIM Level of Development (LOD) / Clash Detection / BIM Coordination / BIM Execution Planning .

Standards Knowledge

Experience with:

- National Electrical Code (NEC)
- National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards
- International Building Code (IBC)
- International Energy Conservation Code (IECC)
- UAE Electrical Regulations
- Local utility authority requirements (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, where applicable)

Preferred Experience

- Consultancy experience on large commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, or data center projects.
- Experience with remote project delivery for US clients.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM teams.
- Familiarity with construction administration and site support.
- Exposure to sustainable design and energy-efficient systems.
