What you ll be doing

Design end to end solutions for complex billing implementations across enterprise billing/finance platforms.

Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear, implementable solution designs.

Partner with product owners, engineers, and operations to shape feasible delivery options.

Produce high quality functional and technical design artefacts for medium to large initiatives.

Support impact analysis, estimation, and solution trade offs during planning and delivery.

Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, data standards, and billing controls.

Summary of Primary Responsibilities

Own solution design for assigned billing domains, services, or client migrations.

Lead design workshops and clarify requirements across business and technical teams.

Define system interactions, data flows, controls, and non functional requirements.

Guide development/implementation teams during build, test, and deployment to ensure design fidelity.

Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints early, proposing pragmatic mitigations.





Contribute to standard patterns and reusable approaches across billing solutions.

Qualifications

- Proven experience designing technical solutions for complex usage-based billing or financial systems.
- Strong understanding of end to end billing lifecycles, including pricing, invoicing, and adjustments.
- Solid stakeholder engagement skills across technology, finance, and third party vendors
- Nice to have: experience with enterprise or SaaS billing platforms (e.g. Aria, Zuora, Salesforce Billing).
- Nice to have: familiarity with Oracle based technology stacks, including PL/SQL and database driven solutions.
- Nice to have: exposure to low code tools such as Oracle APEX supporting billing or operational processes.
