Required Skills for Linux Engineer

- Linux administration skills in enterprise environments (Redhat / CentOS / Rocky Linux)
- Vmware administration experience
- Experience with configuring and managing DNS /DHCP services on Linux
- Shell scripting: Create from scratch as well as manage existing
- Infrastructure Automation using Ansible / Terraform
- Positive understanding of TCP/IP concepts
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Availability to work after office hours when needed

Desired Skills for Linux Engineer:

- Experience with server hardware management (Cisco UCS, HPe Synergy, HPe DL360 )




- Infrastructure support in Cloud (Azure / GCP)
- Windows Server administration experience
- Experience with backup software like Veeam, Cohesity etc
- Experience with Security tools like Qualys, CyberArk, SentinelOne etc

Preferred candidate profile:

- Ability to lead a team of 6 10 engineers
- Should be able to delegate tasks, and be a hub for collaboration among team members
- Have experience working with ticketing systems such as Jira, ServiceNow etc
- Should be in forefront when it comes to communication with customer for daily and regular efforts
