We are looking for an experienced Motion Control Engineer to architect, develop, and refine high-performance motion control solutions for precision electromechanical systems. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for control algorithm development, servo drive integration, and system-level optimization involving motors, encoders, gyros, cameras and real-time controllers. The engineer will work closely with mechanical, electronics, and application teams to deliver robust, reliable, and mission-critical motion systems that meet stringent performance and military quality requirements. Role & responsibilities

PhD or M.Tech (with robust industry experience) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) or Control Systems

- Candidates with proven R&D; or defence/aerospace project experience will be preferred
- Hands-on experience with integration of hardware and software systems. Experience with system testing, debugging, and validation.

Hands-on experience with motion controllers, servo drives, and real-time systems.

1) Design, develop, and implement systems for aerospace and defence applications;

2) Lead servo engineering activities including:

- Servo motor selection
- Drive tuning
- Knowledge in different types of filters
- Motion control algorithms
- Precision positioning systems

3) Development and integration of stabilized platforms for defence and aerospace applications, including gyro-based stabilization algorithms, Kalman filtering techniques, and their practical implementations.

4) Work on Electro Optical Tracking Systems, including:





- Tracking and pointing mechanisms
- Closed-loop control systems
- High-precision electromechanical subsystems

5) Involvement in system design and automation, including kinematics, actuators, and control logic

6) End-to-end project management, including:

- Requirement analysis
- Design documentation
- Development planning
- Testing and validation
- Customer and stakeholder coordination

7) Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, and software teams for complete system integration.

8) Ensure compliance with aerospace and defence standards and quality requirements.

9) Support prototype development, testing, field trials, and production handover.

10) Open to learning and working with emerging and advanced technologies, with a willingness to adapt to evolving project requirements.

Technical Skills Required:

1) Strong expertise in Servo Engineering and Motion Control.

2) In-depth knowledge of control systems, feedback loops, and stabilization techniques.

3) Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or LabVIEW for control modelling and simulation.

4) Experience with DS402 motion frameworks.

5) Proficiency in communication protocols.

6) Experience with industrial automation platforms (PLC, motion controllers, SCADA, HMI, etc.)

7) Experience with embedded systems and real-time control (desirable).
