Job Purpose
To drive Operational Excellence initiatives across manufacturing, formulation, and supply chain operations by implementing Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies to enhance productivity, quality, safety, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance in the agrochemical industry.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

- Lead and deploy Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and VSM initiatives across plants.
- Drive cost reduction, yield improvement, cycle time reduction, and productivity enhancement projects.
- Establish and track KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics.

Manufacturing & Process Optimization

- Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, and Supply Chain teams.
- Improve batch processes, formulation efficiency, and packing operations.
- Optimize raw material usage, solvent recovery, and waste minimization.
- Support scale-up and technology transfer initiatives.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to cGMP, ISO, Responsible Care, EPA, CIB & RC, and statutory regulations.
- Promote a safety-first culture and integrate OPEX with EHS objectives.

Digital & Data-Driven Excellence

- Implement MIS, and real-time performance monitoring systems.
- Use data analytics for root cause analysis (RCA), trend analysis,



and predictive improvements.

Capability Building & Culture

- Train and mentor teams on Lean Six Sigma tools and CI methodologies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

Governance & Reporting

- Review and present OPEX project progress to leadership.
- Ensure sustainability of improvements through standardization and audits.

Key Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, VSM, SMED
- Understanding of agrochemical manufacturing processes (technical, formulation, packing)
- Knowledge of EHS, GMP, regulatory frameworks
- Data analysis and problem-solving skills

Qualification & Experience

- B.E./B.Tech (Chemical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering)
- MBA / PG Diploma in Operations (preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt / Green Belt certification preferred
- 3-8 years of experience in agrochemical / chemical / pharmaceutical manufacturing, with significant exposure to OPEX initiatives
