What we need:

Kafka Admin (Confluent) with AI/ Copilot tooling knowledge with advanced Kafka Architecture along with solid production support and operation.

What you will do:

Administration:

- Build, manage, deploy, and monitor an Apache Kafka/ Confluent Kafka cluster
- Understand common deployment mechanisms
- Discuss and understand core Confluent Kafka concepts




- Understand Administer Kafka Connect
- Update cluster configuration properties
- Upgrade cluster (software and infrastructure)
- Recover from a broker/cluster failure
- Expand clusters
- Explain how High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architectures are accounted for in Apache Kafka and other components
- Deploy and understand Apache Kafka cluster networking concepts such as advertised listeners
- Secure Apache Kafka deployments
- Understand the security layers including authentication, authorization, & encryption
- Interpret cluster metrics
- Tune clusters
