MUST HAVE Skills:

- Automation & IaC (Terraform , Python / Go / TypeScript)

Role & responsibilities:

- Lead enterprise Datadog observability design and delivery across Infrastructure, APM, Logs, RUM, Synthetics, Cloud SIEM, and LLM Observability for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Audit existing Datadog setups tagging, integrations, logs, monitors, feature usage and deliver code + cost optimization recommendations.
- Architect metrics/telemetry collection across AWS, Azure, GCP, data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, data lakes), LLM workloads, and cloud cost monitoring.
- Design monitors, multi-alerts, anomaly/forecast, and composite monitors correlating signals across systems.
- Define tagging standards, retention, and cost-control patterns at scale.
- Build dashboards, SLOs, and Workflow Automation tied to business outcomes.




- Drive migrations from Splunk, New Relic, Dynatrace, ELK, or Prometheus/Grafana.
- Mentor engineers; shape reference architectures.

Preferred candidate profile :

- 8+ years in observability, SRE, or platform engineering; 4+ as senior/lead/architect.
- 3+ years hands-on Datadog (Infra, APM, Logs + 2 of: RUM, Synthetics, Cloud SIEM, CSPM, LLM Observability).
- Proven ability to audit Datadog environments and deliver code + cost recommendations.
- Robust metrics collection across Azure/GCP/AWS, data platforms (Snowflake/Databricks), LLM Observability, and cloud cost monitoring.
- Hands-on with monitors, multi-alerts, anomaly/forecast, and composite monitors.
- Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, Terraform, and Python/Go/TypeScript.
- Strong communication; pre-sales experience a plus.

Nice to Have:

- Datadog certifications, GenAI/LLM architectures, SLO practice, and observability CoE experience.
