Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Java Guidewire Developer with strong expertise in Guidewire applications and Java development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and supporting Guidewire solutions within the Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance domain. Experience with Homeowners Insurance and Guidewire InsuranceNow (INOW) is a significant advantage.Required Qualifications

- 9+ years of software development experience with Java/J2EE.
- 4+ years of hands-on Guidewire development experience.
- Robust knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, or InsuranceSuite.
- Experience with Guidewire Gosu programming, Guidewire APIs, and configuration.
- Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
- Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices.
- Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Homeowners Insurance domain experience (Highly Preferred).
- Guidewire InsuranceNow (INOW) experience (Huge Plus).
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud implementations.
- Knowledge of Guidewire Digital Portal and Integration Gateway.
- Experience integrating Guidewire with third-party systems.




- Cloud experience with AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of messaging frameworks such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and enhance Guidewire applications using Java and Gosu.
- Configure and customize Guidewire modules based on business requirements.
- Develop REST/SOAP integrations with internal and external systems.
- Build scalable microservices using Spring Boot.
- Participate in application design, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide application support.
- Optimize application performance and improve system reliability.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow coding best practices.
