- Prepare accurate shop drawings, erection drawings, single-part drawings, and assembly drawings using Tekla Structures.
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D structural steel models based on contract drawings and project specifications.
- Generate fabrication deliverables including NC/CNC files, material lists, bolt lists, and reports.
- Interpret structural and architectural drawings for commercial and industrial projects.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Checkers, and clients to resolve detailing issues and RFIs.
- Incorporate design revisions and client comments into Tekla models and drawings.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with AISC standards, project specifications, and fabrication requirements.
- Deliver high-quality work while meeting project schedules and quality standards.
Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in structural steel detailing using Tekla Structures.
- Candidates must have hands-on experience working on U.S. structural steel projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel detailing practices and fabrication workflows.
- Good understanding of AISC standards.
- Experience preparing shop drawings, erection drawings, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings.
- Ability to interpret structural design drawings and project specifications.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of up to 2 months are preferred.
