Key Accountabilities:

1. Recruitment and Talent Management:

- Manage the recruitment and selection process for the plant, ensuring the attraction, engagement, and retention of top talent to support current and future business needs.
- Support the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital through effective talent management practices and initiatives.

2. HR Systems and Procedures:

- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Nurture a positive working environment that fosters employee engagement, collaboration, and innovation.

3. Performance Management and Compensation:

- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and supports employee development and career progression.
- Maintain pay plans and perks programs that are competitive, equitable, and aligned with organizational objectives.

4. Training and Development:

- Assess training needs and design, implement, and monitor training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge,



and performance.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics and analytics to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Employee Relations:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations at the plant, fostering a culture of respect, fairness, and compliance.
- Manage industrial peace and harmony in a unionized workforce, anchoring collective bargaining processes with internal and external unions to facilitate smooth wage and bonus settlements.

2. Employee Welfare:

- Oversee welfare activities to ensure cost-effective delivery of services that meet employee needs and expectations.

3. Discipline and Dispute Handling:

- Review performance and labour costs, recommending corrective actions as necessary to optimize operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance to plant HR/IR heads in handling disputes with contractors and resolving escalated grievances promptly.
