Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python
- Build and support scalable RESTful APIs and web services that power enterprise platforms
- Integrate services with internal systems, databases, and third-party applications
- Develop and enhance reporting capabilities using Jasper Reports (secondary focus)
- Write and maintain PL/SQL code to support data processing and application logic (secondary focus)
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues across application and service layers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions
- Contribute to code reviews, system design discussions, and continuous improvement efforts

Required Qualifications

- 3-6 years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Python (primary skill)




- Proven experience building and maintaining web services/APIs (REST, JSON, HTTP)
- Solid understanding of backend architecture and service-oriented design
- Experience working with relational databases
- Familiarity with version control (Git)
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django
- Exposure to Jasper Reports / Jaspersoft
- Working knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL
- Experience with cloud or distributed environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with performance optimization for APIs and backend systems
