Position Title: Senior BIM Modeler-Mechanical
Location: Hyderabad
Reports To: BIM Team Lead
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Description

As a Senior BIM Modeler, you will take on a leadership role in managing complex modeling tasks, ensuring quality control, and mentoring junior staff. You will be pivotal in implementing modeling standards and delivering high-quality outputs that align with project requirements and industry benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities and Focus Areas

1. Advanced BIM Model Development

- Lead and manage advanced modeling tasks using industry-standard software.
- Implement modeling standards like ISO 19650 or national BIM mandates.
- Create complex parametric models and families tailored to project needs.

2. Quality Control

- Oversee and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of deliverables.
- Conduct regular reviews to maintain high standards in modeling workflows.

3. Leadership and Mentorship

- Guide junior staff in their modeling tasks and professional development.
- Foster a collaborative team workplace by providing clear direction and constructive feedback.

4. Innovative Problem Solving





- Utilize advanced tools like Dynamo or Grasshopper to automate and optimize modeling workflows.
- Provide solutions to complex modeling challenges within tight deadlines.

5. Coordination with Stakeholders

- Collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders to align models with overall project objectives.
- Communicate technical insights and solutions to diverse audiences.

Qualifications and Skills Expected

Educational Background

- Bachelors degree or diploma in Mechanical engineering, or a related field.

Technical Proficiency

- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, or similar tools.
- Advanced parametric modeling and family creation skills.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 or national BIM standards.

Personal Attributes

- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Mentorship capabilities to support junior team members.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.

Preferred Knowledge

- Prior academic experience with BIM software is an advantage.
- Certification in BIM tools will be beneficial.
