We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Playwright and Python to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality web applications through scalable and reliable test automation.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with Python
- Build and enhance automation frameworks for UI and API testing
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing
- Maintain test data and ensure test environment stability
- Continuously improve test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python programming
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation
- Good understanding of software testing concepts (STLC, test design techniques)
- Experience with pytest or similar testing frameworks
- Knowledge of API testing (REST, tools like Postman or requests library)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Good knowledge with MCP Server, AI, Codegen, Agent Creation.
- Good have good Exp with Migration
- Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Experience with debugging and analyzing test failures
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in test automation (adjust based on level)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 2–6 years of experience in .NET development
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud workplace
Preferred Skills
- Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Behave, Cucumber)
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized testing environments
- Familiarity with performance testing tools
- Basic understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript (helpful for Playwright ecosystem)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
