Responsibilities:

Designing and implementing new features for our Android TV application, improving, and maintaining the existing codebase, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the app is high-quality and performs well, and writing clear and concise technical documentation.

Requirements for the role include

- a bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Android app development, strong experience in Android TV development and design principles, experience with video streaming.
- Familiarity with Kotlin and Java programming languages, knowledge of software design patterns and best practices, and strong communication and collaboration skills.

Skillset:

- In Depth Knowledge on Android Basic components and Use cases




- Must be efficient in Jetpack Compose Worked on at least one real time application using the same.
- Usage of Jetpack architecture Components
- Experience working on at least 1 Android TV app which is in play store.
- Knowledge on Video streaming
- Exposure to Android Ad Tech platform is a plus.
- Strong debugging Skills
- Excellent grip on App Design patterns like MVC, MVP, MVVM, MVI

Working knowledge on

- Networking libraries
- Strong in Java and Kotlin
- Knowledge on Data Structures
- Usage of Debugging and Performance tools
- Productive in writing Unit and Espresso tests.
