Role & responsibilities :

- IP coordination team to ensure the admission process is seamless, verifying that patients are admitted to the correct level of care based on clinical needs.
- Bed Management: Optimize bed turnover and occupancy levels. Act as the final escalation point for bed allocation conflicts to prevent delays in the Emergency Department or OT.
- Discharge Planning: Lead the multidisciplinary discharge process. Ensure that discharge instructions, follow-up appointments, and medications are communicated clearly to the patient.
- Transfer Coordination: Oversee protected internal and external patient transfers, ensuring all clinical documentation accompanies the patient.
- Grievance Redressal: Manage the IP complaint management system.



Investigate service failures and implement corrective actions within JCI-mandated timelines.
- Privacy & Confidentiality: Ensure physical and data privacy for all inpatients during rounds, transport, and billing discussions.
- Data Analytics: Track and report monthly KPIs including ALOS (Average Length of Stay), Discharge TAT (Turnaround Time), and Bed Occupancy.
- Incident Reporting: Ensure all non-clinical incidents or "near misses" in inpatient areas are reported.
- Patient Satisfaction: Maintain a minimum 100% score in Inpatient Experience Surveys.
- Audit Compliance: Zero "Not Met" findings in IP-related JCI measurable elements during internal audits.
