Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Firewall Engineer (L2) to manage, monitor, and support enterprise firewall infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess robust hands-on experience with Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), security policy management, troubleshooting, and incident resolution in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2 support for enterprise firewall infrastructure and security devices.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewall technologies such as Check Point, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.
- Implement and manage security policies, ACLs, NAT rules, and VPN configurations (IPSec/SSL VPN).
- Monitor firewall performance, logs, and security events to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Perform incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Coordinate with OEM vendors for troubleshooting, TAC support, and escalations.
- Implement security changes, firmware upgrades, and patch management activities.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and audit requirements.




- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
- Collaborate with network, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure seamless operations.

Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Check Point, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Firewall Policy Management
- NAT and Access Control Lists (ACLs)
- IPSec and SSL VPN
- TCP/IP, Routing, and Switching concepts
- Network Security and Threat Management

- Experience in troubleshooting complex firewall and network security incidents.
- Knowledge of ticketing tools and ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management).
- Good understanding of log analysis and security monitoring tools.
