Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and test PLC programs for steel rolling mills and processing lines.
- Develop HMI/SCADA systems for industrial automation applications.
- Integrate hardware and software modules into the overall system to meet customer requirements as per project specifications.
- Interface drives with automation systems using field communication networks such as Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet, and Profinet.
- Support site commissioning activities, with approximately 40% travel based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with lead engineers or lead a team to ensure engineered solutions meet customer requirements defined in project specifications.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation as per customer and project standards.
- Adhere to engineering best practices, design standards, and development processes; suggest and implement improvements where applicable.
- Work within a multidisciplinary engineering team including Control, Hardware, Level 2, and Drive engineers.

Minimum Qualifications





- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 2 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong technical skills in:
- PLC Programming
- Drives
- HMI/SCADA systems

- Academic performance with a CGPA of 7.0 or above.

- Willingness to travel on short notice for site commissioning activities.

Preferred / Desired Qualifications

- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Visio.
- Robust fundamentals in motors, control systems, and power systems.
- Hands-on commissioning experience.
- Experience in the metals industry, including hot/cold rolling mills, processing lines, and bar/wire rod mills.
