Manages and leads a team of technical support staff who design, develop, test, implement, and monitor software and tools. Works with business leaders to define scope and requirements, and plans and executes the development of various systems. Acts as liaison with business sponsors and principals.

Role Summary

Leads and grows a multi disciplinary engineering team spanning Dynamics CRM engineers, integration/API engineers, and a tech lead. Accountable for platform health, delivery outcomes, and technical direction across CRM, integration layers, omnichannel services, and AI enabled capabilities that power Sales Service experiences.

Technical strategy architecture stewardship

Sets technical direction with architects and Tech Leads, defining reference architectures and guardrails across CRM, APIs, identity, eventing, and AI/agent patterns while managing technical debt and modernization.

Delivery, quality operational excellence

Owns engineering quality, CI/CD, release discipline, and production support; drives predictable delivery while maintaining secure, resilient, and observable Sales Service platforms.

People leadership capability uplift

Coaches and develops engineers and Tech Leads, builds high performing teams, and creates clarity across low code CRM, pro code integration, and AI enabled engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

- Strong working knowledge of Dynamics 365 Dataverse runtime (schema, security, plugins, workflows, omnichannel)
- Experience leading API first and event driven architectures (REST/GraphQL, Service Bus/Event Grid, Kafka style patterns)
- Exposure to AI agent platforms (Copilot Studio, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, RAG patterns, MCP concepts)
- Cloud native engineering leadership (AWS and/or Azure)



across serverless, containers, and integration services
- DevSecOps mindset: SLO/SLA thinking, monitoring, incident response, and security by design
- Experience partnering with external vendors and offshore delivery teams
- Solid stakeholder leadership across business, architecture, security, and platform governance.

Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT project management, software development, or IT service delivery. Previous leadership experience required.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. PMP, ITIL, or Agile certifications preferred.
- Strong expertise in IT project management, Agile methodologies, and SDLC best practices with experience in IT infrastructure, software development, and enterprise IT solutions.
- Proficiency in risk management, budgeting, and IT governance. Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and IT compliance standards.
