Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-scale data platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Snowflake implementations, cloud-based data engineering, and building scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines using Python/PySpark and AWS services.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data warehouse, data lake, and data mart solutions using Snowflake.
- Develop and optimize end-to-end data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
- Implement enterprise-grade data solutions on cloud platforms, primarily AWS.
- Leverage Snowflake features such as Zero-Copy Cloning, Time Travel, Data Sharing, Streams, Tasks, and Performance Optimization.
- Implement and manage Snowflake security, governance, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Develop data-processing solutions using Python and PySpark.
- Work with AWS services including:
- S3
- AWS Glue
- AWS Lambda
- AWS Secrets Manager
- AWS DMS





- Collaborate with teams to integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data quality and reliability.
- Build, schedule, and monitor workflows using orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
- Support ETL/ELT development, deployment, and optimization.
- Stay updated with new Snowflake features and best practices.

Required Qualifications

- 6 to 7 years of overall IT development experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake development and implementation.
- Robust experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts.
- Proven experience building production-grade data ingestion and transformation pipelines in Snowflake.
- Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
- Experience implementing Snowflake security and RBAC models.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Working knowledge of Azure services such as:
- Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Blob Storage

- Experience with data orchestration and scheduling tools such as Airflow.
- Good understanding of ETL/ELT methodologies and data engineering best practices.
