We are looking for a Purchase Executive with 3 to 5 years of procurement experience in the Food Processing/FMCG industry. The role involves sourcing raw materials, vendor management, purchase planning, cost optimization, and ensuring timely procurement to support production.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and procure food ingredients, packaging materials, and consumables.
- Develop, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for quality, pricing, and delivery.
- Create Purchase Orders and coordinate timely procurement.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent stock shortages.
- Develop new suppliers and monitor vendor performance.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, QA, and Finance teams.
- Track market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement and quality standards.
- Prepare procurement reports and maintain purchase documentation.

Required Skills





- 35 years of procurement experience in Food Processing, FMCG, Retail or Food Ingredients.
- Solid negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement of rice flour, jowar flour, maida, grains, cereals, food ingredients, and packaging materials.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems is preferred.
- Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Food Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with procurement experience in food manufacturing, retail, or FMCG will be preferred. Ability to source quality raw materials, optimize costs, and build a reliable supplier network is essential.
