- Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
- Industry: Diamond Manufacturing, Gemstone, and Precious Metals / Luxury Jewellery Retail
- Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Board of Directors

Key Responsibilities

- Jewellery Economics & Inventory Control
- Oversee accurate accounting of gold, diamonds, and precious stones, including karat, weight, wastage, yield analysis, and inventory turns .
- Manage costing models based on rough-to-polished yield conversion, market trends, and wastage norms.
- Develop SKU-level profitability and store-wise performance accounting dashboards.
- Financial Strategy, Budgeting & Fundraising
- Lead annual budgeting and seasonal demand forecasting (e.g., wedding seasons, festivals).
- Manage critical working capital, specifically bullion hedging, cash flow, and metal leasing.
- Prepare and present financial models to secure funding, private equity, or manage investor relations .
- Compliance, Taxation & Governance




- Ensure compliance with GST and MCA regulations specific to the bullion and jewellery trade.
- Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Manage EXIM (Export-Import) compliance, customs duty, and transfer pricing for rough diamond imports and polished jewellery exports.
- Lead the company's IPO journey and ensure post-listing compliance where applicable.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA / ICWA (CMA).
- Experience: 15+ years in finance and accounts, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the luxury retail, diamond, or gemstone industry.
- Core Skills: Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), precious metal/diamond grading, working capital management , and retail store finance.
