- Operate and monitor ammonia refrigeration systems safely and efficiently.
- Maintain required temperatures in cold rooms, chillers, freezers, hardening tunnels, blast freezers, and process areas.
- Operate refrigeration compressors (Mycom, Frick, Kirloskar, Sabroe, etc.) and associated utility equipment.
- Monitor and maintain IBT, glycol, chilled water, cooling towers, condensers, evaporators, and ammonia pumps.
- Perform routine inspections and record pressure, temperature, oil levels, and operating parameters.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of refrigeration equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot refrigeration system faults to minimize downtime.
- Ensure proper ammonia handling and comply with safety procedures and SOPs.
- Coordinate with production teams to meet process cooling requirements.
- Maintain daily logbooks, utility reports, and maintenance records.
- Follow GMP, 5S, and EHS guidelines.
Qualifications
- ITI (MRAC/Fitter/Electrician) / Diploma in Mechanical or Refrigeration Engineering.
