We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in data engineering and expertise in AWS Glue. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes to support our data-driven initiatives. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and actionable.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS Glue and other ETL tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to improve performance and efficiency.
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data integrity.
- Work with large datasets and perform data transformations to support analytics and reporting.
- Document data engineering processes and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and cloud technologies.

Mandatory Skills:

- Proven experience in data engineering with a focus on ETL processes.




- Strong proficiency in AWS Glue and related AWS services (S3, Redshift, Lambda).
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform data transformations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Python or Scala for data processing.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with Apache Spark or similar big data technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
