Job Summary
The Associate Cyber Review Manager is responsible for leading cyber incident response and cyber review engagements for clients, ensuring the effective investigation, analysis, and remediation of security incidents. This role combines technical expertise in cyber incident response, digital forensics, and security review workflows with leadership responsibilities, including team management, client engagement, and project oversight.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing cyber breach reviews, conducting digital forensic investigations, and utilizing Relativity and Canopy platforms. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring high-quality delivery, operational excellence, and compliance with security and privacy requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead cyber incident response and cyber review engagements from initiation through completion.
- Conduct and oversee digital forensic investigations to identify, analyze, and document security incidents.
- Manage cyber breach review projects utilizing Relativity and Canopy platforms.
- Review and analyze large datasets to identify compromised data, impacted individuals, and potential security risks.
- Partner with clients to understand investigation requirements, provide status updates, and deliver project outcomes.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client-facing cyber review matters and provide consultative support throughout engagements.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and security reviews to identify and mitigate cyber risks.
- Collaborate with Cyber Security, IT, Legal, Privacy, and Operations teams to support incident response and remediation efforts.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, investigation reports, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- Support the implementation and management of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) processes.
- Ensure compliance with information security standards, privacy regulations, and organizational policies.
- Track project milestones, resource allocation, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
- Mentor, coach, and develop team members while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Identify opportunities to improve cyber review processes, workflows, and service delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Cyber Incident Response, Cyber Review, Digital Forensics, or Security Operations.
- Proven experience leading cyber breach review and incident response engagements.
- Hands-on experience with Relativity and Canopy is required.
- Minimum 1 year of formal people management experience as an Associate Manager, Manager, Team Lead, or equivalent leadership role.
- Experience managing client-facing cyber security or cyber review projects.
- Experience conducting forensic investigations and analyzing compromised data.
- Experience working with security monitoring and SIEM platforms.
- Python scripting or automation experience is highly desirable.
- Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to lead multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility to support critical incidents and client requirements outside standard business hours when necessary.
