BFF Developer Bass Pro Shops

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain BFF services using Nodejs TypeScript and modern backend frameworks

Build API aggregation and orchestration layers to support frontend applications

Integrate with CMS Search PIM Product Inventory Pricing and other enterprise platforms

Implement REST and GraphQL APIs following enterprise standards

Optimize application performance through caching API optimization and efficient data retrieval

Participate in requirement analysis technical design discussions and sprint planning

Collaborate closely with Frontend Developers Backend Teams QA and Architects

Develop unit tests and support SITUAT activities

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring system reliability

Follow coding standards security best practices and CICD processes LTIMBassPH2 2026v1 Word LTIMBassPH2 2026v1 Word

Required Skills

48 years of software development experience





Strong handson experience in Nodejs TypeScript and JavaScript

Experience developing REST APIs and microservices

Good understanding of API Gateway authentication authorization JWT and OAuth

Experience with GraphQL API orchestration and backend integration patterns

Knowledge of cloud platforms AzureAWS

Experience with Git CICD pipelines and Agile methodologies

Strong debugging and performance optimization skills

Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

Experience in RetaileCommerce applications

Exposure to ReactNextJS frontend ecosystems

Experience integrating CMS Search PIM OMS Pricing or Inventory platforms

Knowledge of Redis or distributed caching solutions

Familiarity with KafkaEventdriven integrations
