Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced SAP OTC specialist to join our team at Hitachi, Ltd. This role focuses on optimizing and managing the Order-to-Cash process within our SAP environment, ensuring effective and accurate operations from order entry to cash collection.

Design, configure, and implement SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) modules to support end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes including order management, pricing, billing, and credit management.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze existing processes, and recommend SAP solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
* Lead and participate in full lifecycle SAP implementation projects, including blueprinting, realization, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support for OTC functionalities.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP OTC processes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
* Develop and maintain functional specifications for customizations, enhancements, and reports within the SAP SD module.
* Conduct user training and create documentation for SAP OTC processes and functionalities.
* Work closely with other SAP functional teams (e.g., FI/CO, MM, PP) and technical teams (e.g., ABAP)



to ensure seamless integration across modules.
* Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices related to OTC, including S/4HANA capabilities.
* Participate in system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience with SAP SD module configuration and implementation, specifically focusing on Order-to-Cash processes.
* Proven experience in at least two full lifecycle SAP implementation projects as a functional consultant in SD.
* Strong understanding of integration points between SAP SD and other modules such as FI/CO, MM, and LE.
* Expertise in various aspects of SD, including sales order processing, pricing procedures, availability check, billing, output determination, and credit management.
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
* SAP certification in SD is a plus.
