About the Company

We are a growing heavy engineering and fabrication company engaged in the manufacturing of pressure vessels, storage tanks, structural steel, wind turbine mechanical internals, and other industrial fabrication products. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our accounting operations, statutory compliance, taxation, and financial reporting.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accountant who can independently handle day-to-day accounting, GST compliance, taxation, statutory filings, banking, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally Prime and should preferably have worked in a manufacturing or engineering company.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally Prime.
- Record purchase, sales, receipt, payment, journal, and contra entries.
- Verify and post accounting vouchers.
- Maintain general ledger, cash book, and bank book.
- Perform monthly and year-end account closing.

GST & Taxation

- Prepare and file GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9).
- Perform GST reconciliation and Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation.
- Handle GST claims and resolve GST-related issues.
- Generate and manage E-Way Bills and E-Invoices.
- Prepare and file TDS returns.
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountant for Income Tax Return (ITR) filing.
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.

Banking & Finance

- Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Monitor receivables and payables.
- Process vendor payments.
- Prepare payment schedules.
- Assist in cash flow planning and fund management.

Financial Reporting

- Prepare Monthly Profit & Loss Statement.
- Prepare Balance Sheet schedules.




- Generate MIS Reports for management.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and customer collections.
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register and depreciation schedules.

Audit & Compliance

- Coordinate with Statutory Auditors and Internal Auditors.
- Prepare schedules required for audits.
- Maintain statutory registers and compliance records.
- Ensure timely completion of statutory filings.

Manufacturing Accounting

- Maintain purchase accounting for raw materials.
- Track inventory valuation.
- Verify purchase invoices and supplier accounts.
- Maintain job work and manufacturing-related accounting records.
- Coordinate with purchase and production departments for accounting documentation.

Educational Qualification

- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
- CA Inter will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 38 years of experience in Accounting.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Fabrication, Steel, or Industrial companies will be preferred.
- Hands-on experience in Tally Prime and statutory compliances is mandatory.
