- The Paid Social Specialist will be responsible for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to manage paid social media campaigns. He/she will not only be responsible for the day to day running of campaigns but expected to feed into social strategy and drive this forward. They will work closely with marketing, web analytics, digital marketing, web development and other business partners. They will be the link between strategy and implementation, with good technical and strategic understanding, managing and setting up campaigns across various platforms.
JOB PURPOSE
- The Paid Social Specialist will work closely with the manager (paid social) and brand marketing teams to set and deliver paid social campaigns that align closely with the key social and business objectives. The role will also include budget pacing, optimizations, accurate reporting and industry knowledge of paid social channels.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Paid Social Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media campaigns across platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, Quora, Tiktok, Snapchat etc.
- Monitor daily performance and make real-time adjustments to maximize ROI.
- Ensure campaigns align with brand goals and digital marketing strategy.
- Budget Performance Tracking: Manage paid social media budgets, ensuring accurate pacing and spending allocation.
- Conduct monthly reports on budget spends.
- Data Analysis Optimization: Analyze campaign data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
- Develop A/B testing strategies and suggest performance-driven improvements.
- Utilize third-party bid management tools for better optimization.
- Content Workflow Management: Collaborate with internal teams to manage content calendars and campaign workflows.
- Oversee campaign naming conventions, structure, and updates.
- Stakeholder Vendor Coordination: Work closely with brand marketing, analytics, web development, and external partners.
- Manage relationships with vendors and third-party platforms to enhance campaign performance.
- Strategic Planning Innovation: Contribute to the overall paid social strategy and explore current advertising opportunities.
- Stay updated on emerging social media trends and educate internal teams.
- Compliance Best Practices: Ensure all campaigns comply with platform guidelines and company policies.
- Maintain data privacy standards and ethical advertising practices.
