Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle VBCS (Oracle Visual Builder) Developer to design, develop, customize, and deploy enterprise applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud extensions, REST integrations, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), JavaScript, and Oracle JET. Experience with Redwood UX, Visual Builder Studio (VB Studio), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is highly desirable. Oracle Visual Builder (formerly known as VBCS) is Oracle's low-code platform for building responsive applications and extending Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.

Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Oracle VBCS (Oracle Visual Builder).
- Build custom extensions for Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (ERP, HCM, SCM, CX).
- Develop responsive web and mobile applications using Oracle JET, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Integrate Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle EBS, and third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Create and consume REST services within VBCS applications.
- Develop Service Connections, Business Objects, Variables, and Action Chains.
- Implement Redwood UI standards and responsive user interfaces.
- Work with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for integrations and orchestration.
- Customize Oracle Fusion pages using Visual Builder extensions.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, performance tuning, and defect resolution.
- Manage source code using Git and Visual Builder Studio (VB Studio).
- Participate in CI/CD deployment activities and release management.
- Collaborate with Functional Consultants, Solution Architects, and Business Analysts.
- Prepare technical design documents and provide production support.





Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of Oracle application development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle VBCS / Oracle Visual Builder.
- Strong experience developing Oracle Fusion Cloud extensions.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Robust knowledge of:
- Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS)
- Oracle JET
- JavaScript (ES6)
- HTML5
- CSS3
- REST APIs
- JSON

- Experience consuming and exposing REST/SOAP Web Services.
- Knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with Git, Visual Builder Studio (VB Studio), and CI/CD.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

- Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM/SCM implementation experience.
- Oracle Process Automation (OPA) or Process Cloud Service (PCS).
- Oracle APEX knowledge.
