Role Overview

Responsible for ensuring the reliable, continuous, and efficient operation of the high-voltage and low-voltage electrical infrastructure supporting semiconductor manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operation & Maintenance

- Manage Substations & Distribution: Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the 66 kV Receiving Substation, HT/LT electrical distribution systems, transformers, and switchgear.
- Maintain Critical Power: Ensure maximum uptime for critical power backup infrastructure, including Diesel Generator (DG) systems and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS).
- Monitor Performance: Track electrical loads, power quality, protection systems, and overall system performance to identify inefficiencies.

Maintenance Strategy & Reliability

- Execute Maintenance Plans: Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize manufacturing downtime.
- Troubleshoot & Improve: Diagnose complex electrical faults, resolve system failures, and drive root-cause analysis for continuous reliability improvements.

Projects & Compliance

- Project Execution: Lead electrical facility projects from initial installation through to final testing and commissioning.
- Vendor & OEM Liaison: Coordinate with external contractors, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and cross-functional internal teams for upgrades and servicing.
- Statutory Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to electrical safety standards, plant maintenance protocols, and statutory regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive engineering logs,



regulatory compliance documentation, and performance reports.

Qualification & Experience

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Full-time degree required).
- Experience: 810 years of experience managing electrical facilities within a high-tech manufacturing or semiconductor environment.

Technical & Core Skills

- Infrastructure Expertise: 66 kV Substations, Power Transformers, and Switchgear.
- Critical Systems: HT/LT Systems, Protection Systems, and Critical Power Architecture (UPS/DG).
- Operations: Plant Maintenance, Project Commissioning, and Shift Operations Management.
