About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Architect to provide strategic, architectural, and technical leadership across the entire ServiceNow ecosystem. This role is ideal for a seasoned ServiceNow professional with deep platform expertise who can define enterprise-wide standards, guide solution architecture, and ensure the platform remains scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term business objectives.

As a ServiceNow Platform Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the organization's ServiceNow roadmap, establishing governance standards, driving innovation, and enabling high-quality solution delivery across multiple ServiceNow modules and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Architecture & Strategy

- Define and maintain enterprise-wide architecture, standards, and governance for the ServiceNow platform.
- Design scalable, secure, and future-ready platform architectures aligned with ServiceNow best practices.
- Lead architectural decisions related to platform design, data architecture, integrations, security, and automation.
- Evaluate new ServiceNow releases, products, and capabilities, recommending adoption strategies to support business growth.
- Develop and maintain the long-term ServiceNow platform roadmap.

Implementation & Integration Leadership

- Provide architectural oversight for ServiceNow implementations across:
- IT Service Management (ITSM)
- IT Operations Management (ITOM)
- Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD)
- Customer Service Management (CSM)
- Custom ServiceNow applications

- Define and govern integration architecture between ServiceNow and enterprise applications.
- Ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable integrations using REST, SOAP, and IntegrationHub.
- Maintain data consistency and integrity across CMDB and enterprise data models.





Development & Platform Governance

- Establish development standards, coding guidelines, and architecture best practices.
- Guide development teams on solution design, performance optimization, scalability, and reusability.
- Oversee custom application development, ensuring maintainability, documentation, and compliance with platform standards.
- Review solution designs and support demand intake processes to ensure architectural consistency.

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

- Partner with business stakeholders and technology leaders to translate business objectives into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, administrators, and support teams.
- Present platform strategy, roadmap, architecture, and performance updates to senior leadership.
- Drive collaboration across cross-functional teams including IT Operations, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

- Stay current with ServiceNow platform releases, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and platform innovation.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to maximize platform value, operational efficiency, and user experience.

Required Skills & Experience:

Experience

- 7+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.
- Proven experience in ServiceNow architecture or technical leadership roles within enterprise environments.
- Extensive experience implementing, customizing, integrating,



and governing the ServiceNow platform.

Technical Skills

- Deep expertise across major ServiceNow modules, including:
- IT Service Management (ITSM)
- IT Operations Management (ITOM)
- Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD)
- Customer Service Management (CSM)

- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and application design.
- Proficiency in:

- JavaScript
- Glide APIFlow Designer
- IntegrationHub
- REST/SOAP Web Services

- Strong knowledge of:

- CMDB architecture
- Data modelling
- Security architecture
- Platform governance

- Understanding of enterprise infrastructure technologies, including:

- Servers
- Networks
- Cloud platforms
- Containers
- Databases

Delivery & Collaboration

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with infrastructure, cloud, security, and enterprise architecture teams.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Education & Certifications:

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Certifications:

Required

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

Preferred

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications, such as:
- CIS ITSM
- CIS ITOM
- CIS HRSD

- Additional ServiceNow certifications are considered an advantage.
