Key Responsibilities

Production Management

- Supervise day-to-day injection molding operations across assigned shifts.
- Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and productivity targets.
- Monitor machine performance, cycle times, and production efficiency.
- Coordinate mold changes, machine startups, and production planning with relevant departments.
- Minimize machine downtime through effective coordination with the maintenance team.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

Team Leadership

- Lead, motivate, and supervise machine operators, setters, helpers, and technicians.
- Allocate manpower based on production priorities.
- Conduct shift handovers and daily production meetings.
- Train employees on standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety, quality, and positive manufacturing practices.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and employee performance.

Quality Assurance

- Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.




- Work closely with the Quality department to resolve defects and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor rejection, rework, and scrap levels and initiate improvement actions.
- Ensure first-off approvals and in-process inspections are completed as required.

Safety & Compliance

- Enforce workplace safety policies and use of PPE.
- Maintain compliance with 5S, housekeeping, and environmental requirements.
- Report and investigate safety incidents and near misses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable industry standards.

Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and lower production costs.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, TPM, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and implement actions to improve performance.
