The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications accurately, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, counseling patients on the safe and effective use of medicines, and supporting healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, storage, and precautions.
- Maintain accurate medication and patient records.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage of medicines.
- Order and replenish pharmaceutical stock as required.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Handle controlled substances in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Participate in medication audits, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical activities.
- Respond to medication-related queries from patients and healthcare providers.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization,



and security of the pharmacy.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or Pharm.D) from a recognized institution.
- Valid Pharmacist Registration with the State Pharmacy Council.
- Current pharmacy license as required by local regulations.

Experience

- 1-3 years of experience in a hospital, retail, or clinical pharmacy preferred.
- Fresh graduates with the required registration may also be considered.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication management.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of pharmacy management software and electronic medical records.
- Valuable organizational and inventory management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to patient safety.

Working Conditions:

- May involve rotational shifts and weekends.
- Standing for extended periods and handling pharmaceutical inventory may be required.
