JOB STATEMENT

Participate the supplier quality management process and to develop the supplier quality

performance level: quality planning, quality control and quality improvement and develop the

technical capabilities.

Contribute through own work significantly on the high-quality material flow to units. The assignment contains from different problem-solving situation, analysing processes,

documenting the root causes and to following the agreed corrective actions.

The job scope is working with suppliers used or to be used in the supply operation of company in India. Suppliers cover both material and service providers. Process scope is from supplier

selection to receiving of the material.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Development of Supplier quality management related to Fabrication & Forging,

Components, fasteners including NDT testing, welding qualification, gauging etc.

1. Process Audits - Deploying supplier audit program & run product development

schedule and capability build up, process adherence

2. Developing and updating supplier quality plans, including process flow like

Fabrication process, Surface preparation, Dimensional Accuracy, Fixture operation,

instruction, quality control methods during the key processes

3. Developing the inspection plan of incoming material inspection flow and guarantee

the suppliers implementing the correct inspection process

4. Support the operative purchasing and procurement on analysing the non-conformities

and claims relating the supplier management and achieving corrective actions

internally and among suppliers

5. Giving technical comments on product quality problems of suppliers

6. Participate on agreed development and improvement projects and implement the





agreed actions to achieve the better performance

7. Participating in different groups and projects as supplier quality expert

8. Other tasks assigned by manager

9. Follow Quality KPI / Technical Audit records / Internal Audit and build systems defined

to adhere quality culture.

10. Quality Stakeholder management within Other BAs / BL.

AUTHORITY

Authorized to manage, develop, define, and implement the quality, sustainability

development in Metallic Supply Chain as directed and within guidelines as established by the direct management and policies and procedures.

POSITION SPECIFICATION

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

1. Recognised degree in relevant field

2. More than 5 years experience from supplier quality management related to

Fabrication / Forging / PU media / Components

3. Experience on Product development, project management practises

4. Hands on experience in QA/QC of Castings.

5. Certification on NDT testing of Steel Castings (DP, UT, MPI).

6. Metallurgical knowledge (Microstructure Evaluation)

7. Complex products development and Machines / assy.

8. Positive Knowledge of IS, ASTM Standard
