Key Responsibilities

- Lead engineering teams delivering mobile money, wallet, and digital payment platforms.

- Define engineering strategy, architecture standards, roadmaps, and best practices.

- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams; drive Agile and DevOps adoption.

- Architect and govern secure, scalable, resilient, cloud-native microservices platforms.

- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, observability, incident management, and platform modernization.

- Lead development of payments, transfers, merchant payments, and financial services solutions.

- Ensure regulatory, security, audit, and compliance adherence.

- Design high-volume, low-latency transaction processing systems.

- Drive API-first and event-driven architecture principles.

- Collaborate with Product, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Fraud, and Business teams.

- Communicate engineering plans, progress, and outcomes to leadership.

Mandatory Skills

- Engineering leadership with experience managing multiple teams and large-scale platform delivery.

- Experience in digital payments, mobile money, wallets, banking, fintech, or financial transaction platforms.

- Solid expertise in:

- Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate

- Microservices,



distributed systems, event-driven architecture

- PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, database tuning, high-availability design

- Angular, React, TypeScript

- Android, iOS, mobile security and authentication

- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, Kubernetes

- CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and operational excellence

- Strong architecture governance, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

- Experience in Mobile Money, Digital Wallets, Payments, FinTech, Banking, or Telecom Financial Services.

- Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, API Gateways, and Service Mesh.

- Understanding of PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, and risk management.

- Experience with multi-country payment platforms and regulatory environments.

- Strong strategic thinking, technology vision, talent development, and data-driven decision-making.
