About Rekise Marine

Rekise Marine is building autonomous ships and submarines that operate in the world's most hostile environments. We're executing India's flagship autonomous submarine project, the Jalkapi XLAUV, on order from the Indian Navy. This is an unmanned submarine weighing over 20 tons that can travel 5,000+ kilometers autonomously and operate in the ocean for 30+ days at a time.

We're creating some of the largest autonomous platforms in the world, machines with direct impact on the global economy and national security. While autonomous cars in India may still be a dream, autonomous ships and submarines are already a reality, and we can build for the world from India.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Assistant with a strong electrical and electronics background to support our product development and manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll work hands-on with our engineering team to ensure our autonomous underwater vehicles meet the highest performance and reliability standards. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge defense technology and contribute directly to India's strategic capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support in electrical and electronics assembly, wiring, and maintenance of autonomous marine vessels.
- Should be proficient in wire-harness fabrication and routing, PCB assembly and rework, sensor mounting and calibration, and use of tools such as soldering stations, crimping tools, multimeters, and other precision electrical instruments.
- Assist in testing, troubleshooting,



and quality control of electrical and electronic systems and components.
- Support workshop operations including equipment setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organised work environment, ensuring safety and efficiency in the workshop.
- Travel to in office locations for assisting with testing and assembly.

Required Qualifications

- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
- 2-6 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or workshop environment involving electrical/electronic systems.
- Strong understanding of basic electrical/electronics principles, wire-harness fabrication, and PCB assembly techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
- Good problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in marine, aerospace, or defense manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with sensor integration, quality control processes, and documentation.
- Candidates based in Bengaluru are preferred.
