Role & Responsibilities

- Procure raw spices, food ingredients, packaging materials, and plant consumables as per production requirements.
- Source, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely supply.
- Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, negotiate prices, and finalize purchase orders.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and Accounts for smooth procurement operations.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials while maintaining optimum inventory levels.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality, delivery, and commercial issues.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor database, contracts, and procurement MIS.
- Identify alternate suppliers and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.




- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.
- Work on ERP/SAP for purchase transactions, reports, and documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Graduate in any discipline (MBA/Supply Chain preferred).
- 24 years of procurement experience in Spice Manufacturing, FMCG, Food Processing, or Packaging Industry.
- Hands-on experience in procurement of raw spices, food ingredients, packaging materials, and consumables.
- Strong knowledge of vendor development, price negotiation, and purchase order management.
- Experience in inventory planning and material requirement planning (MRP).
- Proficient in ERP/SAP and MS Excel.
- Good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment and meet procurement timelines.
