Senior Ruby Engineer Prospecting Summary
This role is for a Senior Full-Stack Ruby Engineer who will play a critical role in building and
scaling a contemporary, user-facing platform. The engineer is expected to operate at a senior
level owning complex features end-to-end, influencing architecture decisions, and
mentoring other engineers.
What the Engineer Will Do
Build complex product features across the full stack, primarily using Ruby on Rails and
React.
Set and uphold high code quality standards through code reviews and clean-code
principles.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on best practices.
Contribute to system and architecture design decisions.
Ensure production stability and support internal teams.
Core Qualifications
7+ years of professional Ruby experience with deep Ruby on Rails expertise.




Strong full-stack web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, modern JavaScript).
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
Cloud deployment experience (Heroku, AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Strong communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Advanced React and design system experience.
Exposure to Node.js, TypeScript, and automated testing tools.
Experience with performance and scaling tools such as Redis or Docker.
Agile development experience.
