Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC / VMC / HMC Machine Operator to operate and monitor machining centers for precision manufacturing of components. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in CNC machining operations, machine setup, tooling, inspection, and maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC / VMC / HMC machines as per production plan and job specifications.
- Perform machine setup, job loading/unloading, and tool offset adjustments.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and process sheets.
- Monitor machining operations and ensure dimensional accuracy of components.
- Conduct in-process inspection using measuring instruments such as:
- Change tools/inserts as required and ensure proper tool life management.
- Maintain required production output while ensuring product quality.
- Identify machine abnormalities and report breakdowns to maintenance/team leader.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow preventive maintenance checklists.
- Record production data, rejection, tool usage, and daily machine reports.
- Follow safety procedures, GMP practices, and company SOPs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
- 34 years of experience operating CNC / VMC / HMC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of machining parameters, tooling, feeds & speeds.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T; basics.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Valuable understanding of quality requirements and shop-floor discipline.
