Regional Business Manager (Dermatology) | Strategic Business Leader | Team Builder

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Leadership

- Achieve Regional Primary Sales, Secondary Sales, Collection and Product-wise business targets.
- Develop and execute regional business plans to establish and grow the assigned market.
- Analyse market trends and implement timely corrective actions to achieve business objectives.

Team Building & Leadership

- Recruit, mentor and retain high-performing sales professionals.
- Develop Area Business Managers into effective coaches and business leaders.
- Build a performance-driven culture focused on execution, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Ensure structured induction and ongoing capability development of all team members.

Sales & Market Development

- Drive prescription generation and repeat business through scientific selling.
- Expand market coverage and identify new growth opportunities.
- Strengthen relationships with Dermatologists, Cosmetologists, Key Opinion Leaders and Trade Partners.
- Ensure effective implementation of territory development plans.

CRM & Brand Building

- Plan, monitor and govern Customer Relationship Management (CRM) initiatives.
- Ensure optimum Return on Investment (ROI) from CRM activities.
- Strengthen brand equity through scientific customer engagement and structured relationship building.

Commercial Excellence

- Monitor stockist inventory and product availability.
- Ensure healthy stock rotation, timely collections and effective credit control.
- Maintain commercial discipline and operational efficiency across the region.

Strategy Execution

- Translate corporate strategies into measurable field execution.




- Ensure quality implementation of marketing initiatives.
- Drive business excellence through regular reviews, coaching and performance monitoring.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate in Science or Pharmacy. MBA will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 610 years of successful Pharmaceutical Sales experience.
- At least 23 years' experience as Regional Business Manager / Second Line Manager, preferably in Dermatology or Cosmetology.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving Sales and Collection targets.
- Solid leadership, coaching and business planning capabilities.
- Demonstrated success in recruitment, team development and market expansion.
- Excellent communication, analytical and strategic decision-making skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
