Job Title: Senior Snowflake Data Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Snowflake Data Engineer with robust expertise in Snowflake, Python, SQL, Data Migration, AWS, and Amazon QuickSight. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and optimizing Snowflake data warehouses, building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, migrating enterprise data to Snowflake, and developing high-performance reporting solutions. The role requires excellent problem-solving skills, deep knowledge of Snowflake features, and the ability to optimize queries and dashboards for large-scale analytics.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL.
- Lead data migration projects from legacy systems to Snowflake while ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Design and optimize Snowflake data warehouse solutions for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Implement and manage Snowflake features including Streams, Snowpipe, Time Travel, Tasks, Cloning, and Data Sharing.
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
- Optimize Snowflake queries, virtual warehouses, clustering, and storage utilization.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and analytical reports using Amazon QuickSight.
- Configure dataset refresh schedules, SPICE optimization, and dashboard performance tuning in QuickSight.




- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, data pipeline failures, and reporting issues.
- Follow data governance, security, and cloud best practices across the data platform.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Advanced SQL programming, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Strong Python programming for ETL, automation, and data processing.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake features, including:
- Streams
- Snowpipe
- Time Travel
- Tasks
- Zero-Copy Cloning
- Data Sharing
- Experience with enterprise data migration projects to Snowflake.
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema.
- Experience with AWS cloud services such as S3, IAM, and related data services.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon QuickSight, including:
- Dashboard development
- SPICE datasets
- Scheduled dataset refreshes
- Dashboard optimization
- Security and user access management
- Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
