Role Overview

The Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for designing scalable, high-performing, and secure Salesforce solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements. This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions are optimized for usability, maintainability, and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

oLead the design of end-to-end Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications.
oEnsure architectural designs follow best practices, platform standards, and scalability principles.
oDefine integration patterns with external systems using APIs, middleware, or ETL tools.

Stakeholder Collaboration

oPartner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into functional and technical specifications, and design solution roadmaps.
oServe as a trusted advisor, providing thought leadership on Salesforce capabilities, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

Governance & Standards

oEstablish and enforce coding, configuration, and deployment standards.
oConduct architecture and design reviews to ensure compliance with security, data governance, and performance best practices.

Delivery Leadership
oCollaborate with developers, admins, and functional consultants to oversee implementation.
oProvide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams.
oSupport release management, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.

Quality & Optimization
oProactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities to optimize the Salesforce ecosystem.




oConduct impact analysis for current features, upgrades, or enhancements.
oEnsure high levels of system availability, performance, and security.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise
oDeep knowledge of Salesforce platform (Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience Clouds) and Force.com development.
oStrong understanding of Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
oExperience with integration platforms (MuleSoft, Informatica, Dell Boomi, etc.).

Architecture & Design
oProven track record in designing large-scale, complex Salesforce solutions.
oFamiliarity with enterprise architecture principles and frameworks.
oKnowledge of data modeling, security architecture, and performance optimization.

Leadership & Communication
oStrong ability to engage with executives, business users, and technical teams.
oExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
oExperience mentoring and leading cross-functional teams.

Certifications (preferred)
oSalesforce Certified Application Architect / System Architect.
oSalesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (highly desirable).
oOther Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform Developer II, Sales/Service Consultant, etc.).

Qualifications

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
8+ years of Salesforce experience, including at least 3 years in an architect or lead role.
Experience in Agile delivery environments and DevOps practices.
