- Develop, optimize, and maintain Teradata SQL queries, BTEQ scripts, and data processing workflows for large-scale data warehouses.
- Design, build, and manage ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration and processing.
- Utilize Teradata utilities (e.g., BTEQ, MLOAD, TPT) for high-performance data loading and transformation.
- Write and maintain Shell scripts to automate operational and data management tasks.
- Develop and support Python scripts for data processing, transformation, and analytics.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve Teradata database performance issues.
- Perform query tuning and optimization to improve system efficiency and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business, QA, DevOps) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity,



and security across all data pipelines and processes.
- Document technical designs, workflows, and best practices for effective knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies in Teradata, SQL, and cloud data platforms.
- Requires 5+ years of hands-on Teradata development experience, with solid SQL, BTEQ, and scripting skills.
- Preferred experience with cloud technologies, specifically GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, etc.).
